Curating a portfolio is a big exercise, involving many people and much time to hone in on the key photographs from the many possible and then have a curator and editor finish the sequencing and selection. So it doesn’t happen very often. By now, it hasn’t happened for a while. Photographs that accompany journal posts are more intended to illustrate the subject rather than say, ‘wow, look at this’. This means I accumulate a lot of photographs that I like that have no outlet.
The purpose of this gallery is to give recent photographs some visibility. There is no particular sequence, other than original date, photographs may disappear as my appreciation of them changes, or hopefully I make ones I just like more (maybe even 'better').
This is by definition a work in progress. The only criteria is that it will be photographs that do not appear in any of my portfolios. Most probably it is more recent work, but it may also be something I 'found' in my catalog and developed until it became liked (by me).
